Well, we finally got to meet Jonathan. First we met with the doctor who went over all of Jonathan's medical history with us. Then Maria Clemente, the director, met with us and went over lots of information and we signed lots of papers. Maria and Luke just had to sit quietly through all of that. Finally we got to meet Jonathan. He was nervous and excited both.
We threw a big party for all his friends and the staff at Ayudame. We had cake and candy and pop and got those kids good and wired and then we left:)
Everyone was so nice and so happy for Jonathan. Three of the staff from his school also came to the fiesta. Now we are back and exhausted, except for Jonathan who seems to have eaten enough sugar to keep him going for several hours.
He is a beautiful little boy and very loving. He is also very busy.

What a handsome addition to the family. I can hardly wait to meet him and see Maria for her to tell me the stories. It must have been very hard for her and Luke to be quiet in all the excitement. Nurse Lisa
